Inspections and Renewals during COVID Lockdowns.
With continued lockdowns making it difficult to carry out inspections and sign renewal forms – we’ve put together a short-term plan of attack to make sure you can still get a new permit and make it quick and easy to get your rental paperwork signed.
Permit Renewals the fast way:
The quickest and easiest way to get your renewal processed is to fill out a Club Permit Endorsement Form and upload via our contact form or email us directly. Your endorsement form will be signed and emailed back to you. You can then pay online via VicRoads.
Permit Renewals the-not-so-fast-way:
The not-so-fast way is to either drop-off or post your paper work with a return envelope to us. Your paperwork will be signed and posted back to you.

Online Inspections for new permits:
Being that face-to-face appointments are becoming more difficult to manage, we’re introducing Online Inspections for the short-term.
Step 1. Join Machine Social
Step 2: Check vehicle eligibility
Your vehicle needs to be at least 25 years old to be eligible for a club permit.
Step 3: Get a RWC and fill out paperwork
After joining the club and getting your roadworthy certificate, you’ll need to fill out the following forms (digitally or by hand and saved as a pdf).
Step 4: Submit details online for inspection
Take photos of your vehicle, these images must be taken the same day as being submitted to Machine Social Inc and must be clear with all VIN & Engine numbers visible.
Extra points if you rename your files with your Full Name Year Make Model.
Submit the following images:
- Left side of vehicle
- Right Side of vehicle
- Front of vehicle
- Rear of vehicle
- VIN Number
- Engine Number
- Compliance plate
Submit PDFs of your completed forms:
- Vehicle Eligibility and Standards Declaration for Club Permit Vehicles
- Club Permit Application
- Current RWC (photo is ok)
Step 5: Club will approve and return signed documents for you to submit to VicRoads.
Step 6: Wish these damn lockdowns would end so we can go for a burn!
Stay home and stay safe, legends!
